Shengu Group Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shengu Group) is a strategic and leading enterprise in China's equipment manufacturing industry. It is responsible for providing major core equipment and complete set solutions for the national energy and chemical sectors. As a national high-tech enterprise, the Group acts as the chairman unit of the fan, compressor and pump industries within China's general machinery sector. It undertakes the formulation and release of industrial technical standards as well as the inspection and testing of relevant equipment, and shoulders the mission of leading the development of China's three major general machinery industries. Shengu Group is primarily engaged in the R&D, design, production, manufacturing and full-lifecycle services of high-end equipment dubbed the "Heart of Industry", including large centrifugal compressors, large reciprocating compressors, large pumps and industrial steam turbines. It is China's largest production and research base for general machinery and equipment, and the only domestic pump enterprise that has obtained certifications of ASME, HAF, API, military nuclear standards and ISO 9001. It is also reputed as "National Weight" and "Key Equipment of a Great Nation".
Shengu Group possesses world-leading R&D capabilities. It has built a collaborative innovation system featuring "two stations, five institutes and five centers" as the core, supported by internal technical departments and complemented by overseas R&D institutions. It houses a number of national and provincial R&D platforms, such as the National Energy R&D (Experimental) Center for Large Turbine Compressor Units and the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Centrifugal Compressor Technology and Equipment.
At present, Shengu Group is capable of developing and manufacturing major equipment for various facilities, including compressor units and high-thrust reciprocating compressors for 1.8 million tons/year ethylene plants, 1.4 million tons/year PTA plants, 20 million tons/year oil refineries, 5 million cubic meters LNG facilities, long-distance natural gas transmission pipelines, 150,000-class air separation units, 660MW compressed air energy storage projects, large clean coal chemical projects and large wind tunnels. It also produces EVA ultra-high-pressure reciprocating compressors, as well as nuclear main pumps for Guohe No.1 and Hualong No.1.
