Production & Machining Capabilities of Shengu Reciprocating Compressor Co., Ltd.
The core machining equipment for reciprocating compressors includes Toshiba gantry milling machines, PAMA160 CNC boring mills, AZ CNC crankshaft follow-up grinders, high-precision grinders and high-precision polishing machines.
The Toshiba gantry milling machine model MPB3080B features an 8,000 mm-long worktable, a maximum gantry clearance of 3,000 mm × 2,000 mm, and a load capacity of approximately 40 tons. The PAMA160 boring mill boasts a 10-meter longitudinal column travel, a 3,200 mm vertical headstock travel, a 900 mm ram axial travel, and an 800 mm spindle travel. Its worktable measures 2,500 mm × 2,500 mm with a maximum load of 25 tons. Combined use of the gantry mill and PAMA boring mill enables machining of box-type components for units ranging from standard BX series to large-size 6M125, 4M200, ultra-high-pressure units and labyrinth units (Type B to Type E), such as compressor frames and cylinders.
The AZ CNC crankshaft follow-up grinder delivers a maximum swing diameter of 1,200 mm, a maximum center distance of 10 meters, and a maximum load of 20 tons. Equipped with a Marposs on-machine measuring system, it achieves micron-level precision for shaft and crank pin diameters, and is dedicated to precision grinding of large crankshafts including those for 6M125, 4M200 and ultra-high-pressure compressors.
Matched high-precision grinders and polishers adopt imported polishing pads and polishing fluid. They process packing plates with flatness up to 0.002 mm and surface roughness Ra 0.005 μm, catering to packing fabrication for both standard and ultra-high-pressure compressors.
Furthermore, the reciprocating compressor assembly workshop is equipped with more than 10 test benches with power ratings ranging from 250 kW to 1,000 kW. The benches support full test runs for standard compressors, labyrinth compressors and ultra-high-pressure compressors. Upon customer request, both standard-load and low-temperature load performance tests can be conducted.
